Rachel Crosby

Counselling Intern

Rachel is a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy student at National University and is currently completing her practicum at Innovative Counselling Solutions Inc. She provides counselling services under clinical supervision and is an AAMFT student member.

Rachel supports clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, identity development, stress, communication difficulties, and coping skills. She understands that reaching out for counselling can take courage, and she values creating a space where clients feel respected, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward.

Rachel’s approach is collaborative, client-centered, strengths-based, and systemic. She draws from solution-focused, attachment-informed, and culturally responsive perspectives to help clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Rachel believes that clients are not defined by their challenges and that therapy can help people reconnect with their strengths, clarify what matters to them, and build practical tools for change.

With a background in communication, advocacy, and supporting people through difficult conversations, Rachel brings warmth, curiosity, and empathy into her work. She strives to offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences honestly, develop greater self-awareness, and feel supported as they move toward growth, healing, and stronger relationships.
