Donna Hope

Intern

Donna Hope is completing her Master of Arts in Applied Psychology through The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is completing her internship at Innovative Counselling Solutions, where she works with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, relational challenges, and emotional healing.

Donna brings over 26 years of experience teaching youth and adults in intimate,

growth-focused settings and has worked with more than 300 couples through her facilitation of Couple Communication workshops. Her approach is trauma-informed and relational, emphasizing emotional safety, effective communication, and resilience-building.

Her volunteer work with the Distress Centre Calgary has deepened her expertise in crisis response and trauma support, and she continues to mentor fellow volunteers in compassionate listening and resource navigation. Donna’s background also includes leadership in community initiatives, client advocacy, and education.

She is a graduate student member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Donna is committed to creating a respectful, empathetic, and empowering space for every client she serves.
